Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced
Please note: this class will not meet on Sunday, November 15th due to the Durham Pottery Tour, and Sunday, November 29th due to Claymakers' Thanksgiving break.
This open-format class is designed to help you create the sculpted or handbuilt projects of your choice. Demonstrations and discussions will be directed by student interest to help develop your personal work. If you don’t yet have a direction, Charlie will help you refine your ideas and move forward.
In each class, we’ll address creating reliable structures, intentional aesthetic design, and successful surface textures/finishes. Each student will receive individual attention. Bring all your questions about handbuilding and sculpting with clay—this class is here to support you!
