Interesting in trying a new surface design technique? Perhaps it’s time you try underglaze transfers! In this workshop you'll learn all about underglaze transfers: where to get, how to make them yourself, how to apply them to greenware or bisqueware, how to take them to the next level using underglaze and glaze, and tips along the way to ensure success.
Students should bring a sponge, flexible rib, scissors, small paint brush, and several leather hard or bisqueware pieces. Underglaze transfers will be provided for your use.
Ages 18+ The workshop fee covers one participant and includes bisque firing and glaze firing of one piece. The firing process takes approximately 3 weeks; Claymakers staff will contact you by email you when your piece is available for pickup. Tools will be provided for use.
