Mugs are the heart of a potter’s lineup—loved, used daily, and incredibly personal. In this class, Amy will guide you through the essentials of mug-making: form, balance, surface, and of course, handles. Together, we’ll ask: what makes a great mug? Then we’ll explore how to use form and surface decoration techniques to design one that reflects your own style—whether delicate and dainty or bold and rugged. Join us, and make the mug you’ll reach for every day!
