Looking to shake up your wheel practice? In this class, Amy will guide students through combining wheel-thrown and handbuilt elements to create fresh, one-of-a-kind forms. We’ll focus on throwing components, altering them, and then assembling them using handbuilding techniques—blurring the lines between the two approaches to open up new creative possibilities.
Though we'll incorporate handbuilding, the focus will remain on wheel--so students should have previous throwing experience and be able to comfortably throw with intention.
