Designed for students with prior wheel experience, this class offers the opportunity to deepen skills, refine technique, and grow more confident working independently. Instruction will focus on developing greater control in throwing and finishing, while exploring more advanced forms and processes.
The class will be guided by student interests and may include topics such as throwing larger pieces, creating specific forms like pitchers, plates, and lidded pots, and refining details like handles, rims, and feet. Glazing techniques, surface design, and thoughtful finishing will also be covered throughout the session.
