Skill Level: Intermediate + Beyond
This class is designed for students with prior handbuilding experience who are ready to advance their skills. We’ll refine the core techniques of coil, pinch, and slab, and explore how to combine them to create more ambitious forms.
Students will be encouraged to set individual goals—whether developing more complex forms, experimenting with scale, or refining their personal voice in form and surface. We’ll dive deeper into surface design, texture, and glazing approaches that support more intentional and expressive work.
Individual guidance will help advanced students clarify their ideas and bring them to life with confidence.
