Studio: Sculpture + Handbuilding
Decorate your home or garden with a handmade wall planter! In this handbuilding workshop, students will design, build, and decorate their own ceramic wall planter--just in time for spring planting. Claymakers will provide pre-rolled clay slabs, templates, tools, and decorating materials. Bring your creativity and your home decor/gardening inspiration! All levels welcome.
Note: The piece in the picture has not been glazed, but you’ll have the choice to have your piece glazed or leave it just bisque fired, per your preference!
The workshop fee covers one participant and includes clay, bisque firing, and glaze firing of one piece. The firing process takes 3 weeks; Claymakers staff will contact you by email you when your piece is available for pickup. Tools will be provided for use.
