Do you find yourself flummoxed by handles? Or just want to practice some new approaches to a great handle? Join instructor Gaines Bailey to explore a variety of handle types, and how to make them. Learn tips and tricks for the creation of an effective and attractive pulled, slab, coiled, or extruded handle.
This class is intended to practice handles and their creation; not necessarily to make finished products. All materials will be supplied, but students are welcome to bring their own tools or preferred clay body.
Ages 18+ The registration fee covers one participant and includes materials and instruction. Firing fees for a limited number of pieces are included with registration fee.
