Date: Friday May 8, 2026
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Instructor: Anna Schroeder
Studio: Sculpture/Handbuilding
Level: All Levels
Spring is here and so are the garden critters! Join Anna Schroeder for a fun-filled evening of sculpting your very own ladybug or snail. You’ll learn the whole process of sculpting your own whimsical critter— and you can add your personal touch using stamps, textures, and other techniques. At the end of the class, you’ll choose a glaze color for your piece, and we’ll handle the firing and glazing. No experience necessary—just bring your imagination!
Note: Ages 18 & up only. The registration fee covers one participant and includes clay and firing of one piece. The glazing and firing process takes 3 weeks; Claymakers staff will contact you by email you when your piece is available for pickup.
We do our very best to get pieces through the multi-step drying and firing processes safely. Unfortunately, pottery is a fragile and fickle art, and breakages/unexpected outcomes do happen. In the rare event that your piece does not make it through the firings intact, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or makeup class.
