One Day Clay: Throw Better Pots Cylinder Challenge

$75.00

Date: Friday, April 24th, 2026

Time: 6:30 - 9:00 pm

Instructor: Jessica Sandford

Studio: Wheel 2

Level: Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Push past the plateau and start throwing the pots you actually want to make! If you've moved through the beginner stage but your pots still feel heavier than you'd like, or you've been throwing on autopilot and can feel your skills leveling off, this workshop is for you.

In 2.5 focused hours, we’ll work through three rigorous exercises designed to shake up your muscle memory, focus you in new places, and help you throw with real intention. Every cylinder gets cut open, and every cut is information. Join us for this lighthearted one-time bootcamp for anyone who can confidently center and pull a cylinder.

The workshop fee covers one participant. Clay will be provided; however no pieces will be fired in this class—our focus will be on practicing form and technique, so all clay will be reclaimed. Tools will be provided for use, but you may bring any of your favorite tools or clay to use.
