Session 5: Individualized Continuing Wheel, Tuesday Mornings
Tuesday Mornings, 10 am-1 pm
Class Dates: July 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26
Instructor: Jessica Sandford
Location: Wheel Studio 2
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
This class is for students who have wheel experience, can confidently work independently, and want additional guidance in refining their wheel-throwing and finishing skills. Building on foundational skills, students will focus on building control and learning advanced throwing techniques. We’ll also cover glaze application, design, and surface treatment.
Students’ interests will direct this class: topics may include learning specific new forms (pitchers, plates, lidded pots, etc.), making multiples, throwing larger, or attention to details (handles, feet, rims). Jessica will tailor demos to individuals' needs and offer 1:1 coaching and feedback during class time.
