Session 4: The Next Step: Intermediate Wheel, Thursday Evenings

$260.00
Sold Out

Thursday Evenings, 6:30-9:30 pm

Class Dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26; July 3, 10

Instructor: James Ward

Location: Wheel Studio 1

Skill Level: Intermediate

So you've taken a beginning wheel class or two--now what? It's time to take the next step and level up your throwing skills! In this class, students will try more complex forms and work toward achieving greater consistency in throwing. We'll practice our trimming skills, add handles, and maybe even make lidded forms.

Students will work to improve their glazing skills, and may explore surface decorating techniques that go beyond glaze. You're ready for this class when you're comfortable independently wedging and centering and can consistently open and pull a one-pound ball of clay.
