Session 7: Sculpting Faces, Hands, & Feet, Saturday mornings
Sculpting Faces, Hands, & Feet, for beginners (Session 7)
In sculpting people, the most challenging aspects are the face, hands, and feet, so this class will study these parts, making them easier to achieve in your own work. We'll have example sculptures to handle, and I'll demonstrate common techniques for efficiently creating faces, hands and feet. We will also have a handful of printed illustrations for you to keep, showing ways to understand these forms as simpler, easier shapes. Each student will create one life-size face, hand, and foot during the session, and each student will receive individual attention and feedback during each class meeting. Personal reference photos are welcome. Beginners are welcome, and those with experience can also benefit from this focused study.
Saturday mornings, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Session 7: October 27 - December 15 (no class 11/24)
